Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I buy this printers?

Please write us an e-mail to or fill out and send us the contact form from this website. We will send you further information without any obligation.

Is the printer also working on Linux or Mac?

Unfortunately these operating systems are not supported by our software yet. But you can use an open source software like Slic3r for the operation of our printers.

Which file formats can be processed?

The software can process files in the STL-Format. These files can be created by almost all usual 3D drawing and modeling software.

Will the printer be delivered as an assembly-set?

No, our printers are completely assembled and tested.

Why do I need the 3D-Glue?

The 3D Glue ensures the adhesion between the model and the printing bed. It is applied on the printing bed before printing.

What is the difference between PLA and ABS?

ABS is more temperature-resistant as PLA but it is also more difficult as printing material in comparison to PLA.

Which requirements has my computer to comply with?

  • Intel Celeron with 2,8 GHz frequency or higher
  • RAM 1 GB
  • Intel HD Graphics or better
  • 500 MB unused system-memory
  • DVD-Device
  • Keyboard, Mouse, one free USB-port
  • Windows XP or higher
  • .NET Framework 3.5 or better
  • Resolution: 1200 x 800 pixel

What previous knowledge is needed?

For using the printer itself there is no previous knowledge needed. But for creating the model, you should be familiar with the use of suitable 3D-design software.

What additional software is needed?

For generating the models you need a 3D-drawing or -design program, with which the models can be exported as STL-Files.

What is the heated printing bed needed for?

The heated printing bed is needed for printing with ABS. Because of its shrinking behavior, ABS tightens much, while cooling. To minimize this behavior, a heated printing bed is necessary. By using a heated printing bed, the printing quality can also be increased when printing with PLA.

We recommend the use of PLA. Because of the strong shrinking of ABS, you might achieve not good results or the model might be removed from the printing plate while printing.

Which materials can be processed?

The printers are designed for the usage of ABS and PLA filaments with a diameter of 1.75 mm.

We recommend the use of PLA. Because of the strong shrinking of ABS, you might achieve not good results or the model might be removed from the printing plate while printing.

Do the printers also print multicolored?

Because our printers have only one printing head, they can only print one color.
